Bluer

Lorenzo Viscidi Bluer was born in Venice on June 19, 1962.
Starting from the early 90s, he begins the activity of painter with a particular passion for the color blue (bluer-doer of blue) first with oil colors, then acrylic and finally with inks. Starting from 2005, in his artistic research in addition to blue color also turned into light, transparency and experimentation with other materials: Murano glass, ceramics and mostly Plexiglas, with which he also makes sculptures and installations. For painting, he now uses either polymorphous or curved frames, or the possibility to modify dimensions through frames and structures with varying geometries. He has exhibited his works in more than 200 solo exhibitions, fairs and artistic events in over 20 countries around the world. He participated in collateral events of the 52nd Venice Biennale and the 12th Venice Architecture Biennale. He was invited to exhibit at the 54th Venice Biennale in the Venetian artists section.
