Gabry Cominale

Born in Genoa, now she lives and works in Savona.
She approached art in the 70s, when she was working in the fashion industry as a designer.
At the end of the 90s, after years of theatrical (she took part at the Project “Il Giardino del Mago”) and artistic experimentation, under the guidance of the master Guido Garbarino, she became familiar with the Raku technique, which finds its principal elements in: clay, air, water and fire.
A characteristic of her exhibitions are performances each time different and innovative.

To you

The white rose is a symbol of purity, but even the purest thing has thorns.
When you are pure you are like a blank sheet of paper on which it is possible to write marvellous things. But in life, sometimes, you have to deal with difficulties (the rose’s thorns) that injure your heart, which however, continues to fight and beat, dreaming of the blank sheet of paper from which everything started.
