Maria Paola Chiarlone

Maria Paola Chiarlone, born in Acqui Terme in 1965, graduated in Architectural Design at the Jona Ottolenghi State Institute of Art in Acqui Terme. She attends the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Genoa. She’s been listed as a Painter in the 2016 edition of the “Dictionary of Ligurian Artists - painters, sculptors, ceramists, engravers, photographers of the twentieth and twenty-first century”, issued by De Ferrari. She lives and works in Piana Crixia. Her artistic career began in the 80s, exhibiting in collective and solo exhibitions, obtaining both the public's and the critic’s recognition. Her paintings have a markedly material matrix, where the creative force explodes in combination, in chiaroscuro, in the structural stylization of pictorial composition. Her introspective language is able to restore removed or dormant sensations by reverberating her powerful Art in the eyes of the observer.
